ClearKit is a set of tools for comparing, cleaning, formatting, and checking files or content. It is built for work that is easy to misread when you have to review it manually.
Using ClearKit
What the product does and when it is useful
Start here for the short version of what ClearKit is for and what Compare can already do.
Compare is the first live tool in the suite. You upload an older file and a newer file, then review what was added, removed, or changed. CSV compares rows by a shared column, and JSON compares nested paths.
Compare currently supports CSV and JSON. CSV is designed for row and column changes, while JSON is designed for nested key and value comparisons. Other tools may support additional formats later, but those are the formats available today.
It is for people who need to review files or structured content without wasting time digging through raw output. That can include operations, product, localization, content, QA, vendor review, or anyone handling files where mistakes are costly.
Data & Security
How files, privacy, and access work
These are the questions people usually ask before uploading files or deciding whether the product feels safe enough for real work.
No. You can open Compare and review the free preview without signing in. If you choose premium, access is enabled on the device you used for checkout.
For Compare, files are read and parsed in your browser so you can review results directly in the app. ClearKit also shows file details and previews to help you check what you uploaded before comparing.
ClearKit keeps the product lightweight: no full account database, browser-based comparison for CSV and JSON, and Stripe Checkout for payments. That helps limit how much product data needs to be stored. If you work with sensitive material, follow your own internal handling rules and review the privacy page before uploading files.
Yes. Compare currently supports files up to 25MB each. That limit helps keep the browser-based parsing and preview fast enough to stay useful.
Pricing & Access
What is free, what is paid, and what comes next
The product gives enough value up front to be useful, while keeping the full review and export options behind a simple paid unlock.
The free preview includes the summary, warnings, overview stats, and a useful sample of the results. The paid unlock gives you the full detail view and export tools when you need the complete report.
Payment uses hosted Stripe Checkout. After payment succeeds, ClearKit confirms access so premium results and exports are available on the device you used.
No. You use Stripe Checkout, return to the app, and continue without needing another login to manage.
Clean, Format, and Check are planned next. They are intended to support the same kind of review, cleanup, and handoff work as Compare.
